To the girl who thinks herself invisible,
You are visible to me. Your tactics so transparent, it's written on your smile. That does not reach your eyes. See you competing for overrated intangibles. While I like to touch the things I have. And true confidence comes only from within. Cannot be gifted, or lovingly bestowed. I do not miss you telling me how much you care. I do not miss you going out of your way to be a friend and listen to me cry. Even without you, I'm just fine. Hope you will see, one day, we do not have to compete for the love we give ourselves. I never saw you as my competition. If it still bothers you, that I exist, and we don't talk, get a hobby. Occupy your mind with empowering thoughts. Watch a podcast, join support groups, make new friends. Don't look back in anger. Don't look back in anger. I don't hate you. Most days tbh I don't think of you at all. Not because you are forgettable, or invisible, what does that even mean, but I have moved on. I've made new friends. Friends who don't compete with me.
